Hessen Ideen is an initiative of the state of Hessen, Hessian universities, and Hessian companies that supports you in taking the first steps from your entrepreneurial idea to a convincing business concept—for example, with the Hessen Ideen scholarship or the Hessen Ideen competition.

Hessen Ideen Competition

• The best entrepreneurial start-up ideas from Hessen's universities compete against each other. This gives start-up projects a state-wide platform to present their ideas.

Hessen Ideen Scholarship

• Six-month scholarship programme for university members and graduates with an affinity for start-ups who are in the early stages of developing a business idea

Hessen Ideas Crowdfunding

• Start-up ideas from Hessen's universities are supported in raising funds from the crowd: The idea teams are supported with 1:1 co-funding of up to 5,000 euros and assisted in the development of their crowdfunding campaign.

future of food - crowdfunding contest

• Together with UNIKAT, we are looking for start-up ideas in the food sector. Whether sustainable food production, new technologies, environmentally friendly packaging, or smart concepts. The contest will raise awareness of your idea and help you gain your first supporters.
